E-mail Setup


Email Account Set-Up for Outlook Express

Outlook Express is one of the most widely used email platforms. It has a vast amount of options and features that make it easy and efficient to use. From instant retrieval of sent emails to quick formatting of your inbox, Outlook was designed to be user friendly. Setting up your email in Outlook is fairly easy but requires keen attention to detail.

Steps

Step One

Open Outlook Express and then click on "Tools"

Step Two

Click on Accounts.



Step Three

click on "Add" and then "Mail..."



Step Four

Supply the name that you want to appear on your outgoing emails. This name will appear on every email you send out. It can make email identification much easier if you instantly see who is sending and receiving the email messages.



Step Five

Enter the incoming and outgoing mail server addresses used by your Internet provider under Server Information.

Incoming Mail (POP3)

mail.your domain.co.za example (mail.infobay.co.za) or ( mail.all-aboardtours.co.za)

Outgoing mail (SMTP) server

Please contact your Internet Service Provider to find out what your SMTP setting should be.

Here is some examples

For TELKOM users type in smtp.dsl.telkomsa.net

For MTN users type in mail.mtn.co.za

For Vodacom users type in smtp.vodamail.co.za



Step Six

Enter your Account name: info@your domain.co.za

Enter the password given to you.

Click the checkbox "Remember password"

Click on "Next"

Click on "Finish"



Repeat Step one to Step Six to setup your other email accounts.
